Position Summary

The Human Resources Office Assistant will perform a wide variety of duties to support the Human Resources department that may include the areas of recruitment, employee support, facilities/office management, and related administrative support. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department on all personnel matters.
  • Assist with facilities and coordinating tenant issues.
  • Assist with on-boarding new employees, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and employee life-cycle tasks.
  • Responsible for clerical duties/functions.
  • Provide assistance to employees and departments in matters involving personnel policies and practices.
  • Assist with planning and executing company events.
  • Maintain appropriate employee files.
  • Assist in the creation and production of HR projects and reports.
  • Order office and kitchen supplies for the building
  • Prepares office mail and sends/receives all packages/deliveries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Prior office experience is preferred but not required.
  • Student status while pursuing a degree or emphasis in Human Resources at a university or college is preferred but not required.
