This position is based in the Mid-Atlantic US, based from a home office, with travel required.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the General Manager Cohesity Sales, the Regional Account Executive will be responsible for building, growing and maintaining sales within a defined geographical region. The successful candidate will be one of the first members of a dedicated practice supporting sales of Cohesity Hyperconverged Storage solutions within a market leading technology solutions provider.   Responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned sales and profitability goals, while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction for Mainline and its customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Build, sell and deliver strong internal and external ties that create value and credibility to Mainline
    • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process
    • Engage with the regional Cohesity Sales teams, coordinate joint sales efforts and set expectations for an ongoing successful sales relationship
    • Prospecting, a proven track record of penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
    • Ability to define and execute a regional sales plan that demonstrates how you will exceed quota through prospecting, leveraging Mainline resources and engagements with your Cohesity regional business partners
    • Creating proposals for customers with information that highlights the power and credibility of a Cohesity solution delivered by Mainline maximizing sale values and achieving Gross Profit (GP) targets.
    • Accurately forecast opportunities to the Mainline Sales Management team, providing visibility into all opportunities via
    • Manage customer expectations and satisfaction

Education and/or Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, selling complex technology solutions to enterprise organizations. The ideal candidate will have proven success selling data protection solutions.
    • Experience in working with (or as) a channel partner; clearly articulates key success criteria for driving technology sales through an in-direct sales process.
    • BA/BS degree with emphasis on Information Systems is preferred, however an acceptable level of direct/equivalent experience is minimally required.
    • Appropriate Technology Solution Partner Certification(s) are preferred.
